Our Story

The creation of the Welcomadeira website began in 2016, originally named Welcomadeira, with myself, José Élvio Andrade Castanho, as the developer and creator. It is located in Calheta, at 184 Achada de Santo Antão Street, and established as a personal name company.

Our mission

Welcomadeira aims for quality and competitive prices in the Local Accommodation sector, encompassing the lodging of houses, hotels, activities, tours, and other resources available on the island of Madeira, all on a single platform, with the goal of making it easier and providing unique experiences for those who visit us.

Welcomadeira is fully aware of the importance of environmental preservation, thus, it is concerned and conveys this awareness to its employees, with a focus on preserving the riches of our region. Similarly, it is a company that upholds its social responsibility, always striving to progress alongside all its partners.
